Proving that age is no barrier to idiocy
Travel Warning!
England in grip of severe weather!
Heavy snow across large parts of England leads to travel chaos and hundreds of schools being closed!
Travel disruption at-a-glance...
Have you been hit by the snow?
Hazardous ice risk!
Icy roads become treacherous!
After the snow, ice and freezing fog will become the problem!
This is what we woke to this morning...a copy-editor with a feral desire to place exclamation marks at the end of every news report(!), or so we thought until we soon realised that it EVERY copy-editor in the land was doing the same(!)
Once again, the spaniel brought it to A's attention at 0245 hrs this morning that it was snowing (how does he know?)
and by 8am everything was blanketed under 10cms of icing sugar...
We had to learn a new procedure for driving in England (clear the windscreen)...
So of course, we decided to ignore the travel!! warning!! and venture out to the nearest hill...
And do what the natives do!
P.S. Headfirst is SO much faster. Thanks JH for lending us your sleds!

I KNEW you'd blog about the snow. It was reported on the news this evening (sans exclamation marks) and I instantly thought of how happy this would make the Grey-Jones contingent. Happy days - enjoy!
Miss you...
Happy people!
What fun!!!!!!
Have been thinking of you with all the snow reports, sans !!! (Rachel) in the Aus press, just as we hear of more fires, your way it seems at present.
Continue to have fun
